Project Stage: Park Pathway Phase 1 completed June 2023. Phase 2 has been added to the Hunts Point Lane Culvert Replacement Project which will take place summer/ fall 2024.

Location: Hunts Point Lane

Project Summary: 

The Town will be replacing the deteriorating corrugated metal culvert under Hunts Point Lane with a new concrete box culvert. This project will also include critical roadway restoration work and improvements to the upstream and downstream riparian corridor. When completed, the new culvert will greatly reduce the need for costly ongoing maintenance of the culvert, improve stream function and fish passage, enhance water quality, and ensure the future integrity of Hunts Point Lane for residents.

During the project, traffic will be condensed to a single lane adjacent to the work zone. Flaggers will be onsite during the project but there could be some traffic delays.
